20th August 2007 - Update from Justin

Anthony and I went on a road trip today to Manhattan. Im going to be staying with my paps for the next few days. Sometimes a wave swallows me up and throws me around in its ripping forces until I cant find where the surface is anymore. Just need this moment to take a deep breath.

13th August 2007 - Summer Good Times

What's up Webbers?
I'm in Edmonton, on my way back to Toronto at the moment. The festivalshave been really amazing. So far we've played T in The Park, Oxegen,Hillside, Edmonton Folk, Bedford, Dranouter and Montreux Jazz.
My band and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude towards anyone who participated in these magical festivals. This summer has been a mix of extreme heat, cloudy, rainy, cold, and gloomy days. It has become a real growing experience for us. It's been really encouraging and exciting playing to new audiences and getting to feel for the vibes in these different places.
We're heading back home for a 2 week rehearsal / rest time before we go to Switzerland for another festival. We are also planning to add a fourth member to the band who will be playing keys and guitar. It's all good!
Take care
Justin

1st July 2007 - In the UK

Hey Webbers,I'm in London, England at the moment, staying near Trafalgar square. This trip has been really busy compared to the others, but just as amazing. I've played shows with the band in London and Amsterdam. Have also taken a trip to Germany on my own. Overall, it has been a really great trip so far. I can't wait to play T in the Park, Oxegen, and Montreaux Jazz festivals.Really excited to play Zurich and see the beautiful mountains. It's amazing to finally be done school and be able to concentrate fully on mycareer. Thanks for all your support, it really means so much to me.PeaceJustin

16th June 2007 - Time to step it up a gear!

Heyo,
Just hangin at home at the moment listening to M. Ward. For those who don't know who he is, it's very mellow, earthy, soulful music.
I wanted to let you know that I've officially finished school as of 3 days ago. It's remarkable how free and excited I feel. Writing, playing, traveling, listening, roaming, and growing as an artist is now my life.
I want to thank everyone who has stuck by me and is supporting my music. I can't wait to show you more of what I've been working on.
Peace
Justin

18th May 2007 - Looking back...

Hey Webbers,
Am now on the plane back to Toronto. This trip has been absolutely incredible! I feel so charged and more ready than ever. I've learned so much about myself over the past few weeks and my visions and dreams have never been clearer.
I've made a second family on the road of band brothers and crew brothers. Together we have shared fun, down, frustrating, angry, hilarious, unforgettable memories. As a band Alex, Anthony and I have grown so much to play off our energies on stage - I feel complete with them there with me.
From the most connected show I've ever played in Birmingham to the most unconnected, scary, show at Maida Vale - all together I feel strengthened, excited, and most of all confident.
Thank you for so much support at the shows - it felt like a dream.
Can't wait for festivals!
Peace Justin

March 30th, 2007 - Can't wait to be back

Just wanted to recap on the UK tour and show my gratitude towards everyone who came out and made me feel so welcomed. I had a really great time playing through the UK and promoting my new album in other parts of Europe.

Although there was not a lot of time to see much of the sites and get a good vibe of the places, I was fortunate to see some. The most memorable part of this trip for me was going to Zurich and Amsterdam. In Zurich I had time to walk around the city and to the lake where I could see the mountains painted in the sky. I've made a note to someday walk through them.

In Amsterdam I was even more fortunate with spare time. It felt really warm and active. During the day I played a few of my songs to passer bys on the street. Haven't been that nervous in a while. Couldn't help but notice the mushroom shops filled with abstract art.

After a long day, I had to experience a coffee shop. While I was there I realized how different Amsterdam is from what I'm used to. Reminded me how fortunate I am to be able to experience this.

It really has been hard for me to think with everything that has been going on...

What a trip!
Peace and love
Justin

March 16th, 2007 - Thank you
